Role: Senior P&C Insurance Business Analyst

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Duration: 6-12+ Months with extensions

Role Overview

Senior Business Analyst with 8 years of experience supporting Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance initiatives, serving as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.

Responsibilities

Conduct interviews, workshops, and document analysis to gather business requirements from P&C stakeholders.

Translate high-level business needs into detailed, development-ready user stories with clear acceptance criteria.

Maintain thorough documentation of system requirements.

Analyze and model current-state ("As-Is") and future-state ("To-Be") business processes related to policy lifecycle, claims adjudication, or billing operations.

Act as a liaison between P&C business leaders, Product Owners, and technical teams to ensure mutual understanding of requirements and system capabilities.

Collaborate with the QA team to develop test plans and scenarios.

Facilitate and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business expectations and regulatory standards.

Assist in evaluating and implementing updates to core administration platforms (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek) or proprietary insurance systems.
