GIS Analyst

Trident Consulting is seeking a " GIS Analyst” for one of our client in " Santa Ana, CA (Hybrid-2 days)” A global leader in business and technology services.

• Job Title: GIS Analyst
• Location: Santa Ana, CA (Hybrid-2 days)
• Pay Rate: $38/hr on W2 (All inclusive)
• Type: Contract
• Duration: 18+ Months (Possible Extension)

• Job Responsibilities
• Perform desktop geospatial analysis to identify missing pole assets and pole IDs.
• Validate asset locations using ArcGIS Online, AutoCAD Map 3D, Google Earth, and LiDAR.
• Research and identify missing records in SAP, cGIS, and Circuit Mapping systems.
• Review field photographs, work orders, and supporting documentation to validate asset information.
• Analyze discrepancies between field conditions and system records and recommend corrections.
• Prepare documentation for System of Record updates and maintain accurate asset records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data quality and reporting.
• Required Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience with ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online, AutoCAD Map 3D, or ESRI products.
• 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel functions (VLOOKUP, IF, etc.).
• Experience with root cause analysis, issue tracking, reporting, and problem resolution.
• Strong spatial analysis skills with the ability to interpret maps and geospatial data.
• Experience documenting processes, creating technical documentation, and making process improvement recommendations.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Utility industry experience.
• Experience with SAP, ESRI, ArcGIS, cGIS, SAS, or other records management systems.
• Experience creating complex reports, graphs, and presentations using business applications.
• Education
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Preferred: Geography, Engineering, GIS, Information Technology, or Computer Science
