Role Description The Fresher Data Analyst (Entry / Junior Level) will support data-driven decision-making by collecting, organizing, and analyzing school-related data such as student performance, attendance, and program outcomes. This part-time, remote role involves cleaning and validating datasets, preparing basic reports, and creating simple visualizations to communicate findings to educators and administrators. The Data Analyst will assist in building and maintaining data models, documenting data sources and processes, and helping to identify trends or patterns that can enhance teaching and school operations. The role also includes collaborating with team members to clarify data needs, ensuring data accuracy, and learning to use analytics tools under guidance from more experienced staff.
Qualifications
Strong foundational Analytical Skills and interest in problem-solving using data.
Basic knowledge of Data Analytics and familiarity with tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, or introductory BI/analytics platforms.
Introductory understanding of Statistics, including descriptive statistics and simple comparisons.
Ability to support Data Modeling tasks, such as structuring datasets and defining basic relationships between data elements.
Clear and concise Communication skills, with the ability to present findings in an accessible way to non-technical stakeholders.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Education, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage part-time remote work responsibly.
Willingness to learn new tools and methods, and an interest in applying data analysis in an educational context.
