Financial Operations Support Analyst – Capital 5-Year Plan

What You'll Do:

• 🔹 Manage transactional oversight for 50+ capital contractors and vendors
• 🔹 Conduct quarterly financial analysis and budget monitoring for funded programs
• 🔹 Validate contractor billing against approved project budgets and Certificates to Proceed
• 🔹 Coordinate with NYC Comptroller and DASNY auditors on payment inquiries
• 🔹 Support Local Law 24 Quarterly Reporting on active capital projects
• 🔹 Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to keep projects on time and on budget

What You Bring:

• ✅ Bachelor's degree + 5 years of experience in financial/management analysis or reporting
• ✅ 4+ years managing large-scale project budgets
• ✅ Strong Excel skills; database experience (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server) a plus
• ✅ Sharp analytical instincts — you catch the variance others miss
• ✅ Comfort working across multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Bonus Points:

• 🎓 Master's in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or Public Administration
• 🏛️ Background in public finance or procurement
