About The Role
The Financial Data Analyst position at CAI is a full-time, onsite role based in Miramar, FL. The successful candidate will be instrumental in tracking, analyzing, and reporting on the financial performance of IT Product Construction projects. This role supports portfolio management by providing critical insights into project financial health, resource utilization, risk factors, and strategic alignment. The analyst will collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership to develop comprehensive dashboards, reports, and presentations that promote transparency and informed decision-making. The position requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills, advanced Excel expertise, and experience in financial management within project environments. This role is ideal for a professional seeking to leverage their data analysis skills to influence project success and organizational growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5+ years of financial management experience, including forecasting, budgeting, and month-end close activities
- 5+ years of advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including power-pivots, VLOOKUP, and nested formulas
- Experience in data analysis within a PMO or project environment
- Demonstrated expertise with data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement and presentation of complex data insights
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with data analysis tools like SQL is preferred
Responsibilities
- Gather, validate, and analyze project data from various management systems to monitor performance against KPIs, budgets, and schedules
- Develop and distribute regular reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate project status and financial health to stakeholders
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of project data across the PMO
- Identify trends, anomalies, and areas for process improvement through comprehensive data analysis
- Collaborate with project teams to enhance data collection methods and reporting processes
- Support the implementation of new reporting tools, dashboards, and data standards
- Assist in risk identification and develop mitigation strategies based on data insights
- Communicate complex data findings effectively to stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Manage budget scope for assigned projects, including internal labor costs and expense tracking, in accordance with accounting standards
