We're recruiting a Financial Data Analyst for an opportunity that combines financial analysis with data reporting and business intelligence. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys transforming financial data into meaningful insights, developing reporting solutions, and supporting business decisions through accurate and timely analysis.

Working closely with the finance team and business leaders, you'll help enhance financial reporting, improve reporting processes, and develop dashboards that provide valuable visibility into business performance.

What You'll Do

Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and analytical tools that support financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Collaborate with finance stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver automated reporting solutions.

Build and maintain financial reporting packages, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow reporting, and other management reports.

Develop dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) that provide meaningful insights into financial and operational performance.

Create financial models and scenario analyses to support planning and business decision-making.

Work with large datasets from multiple sources to improve reporting accuracy and data integrity.

Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes through automation, enhanced workflows, and business intelligence tools.

Investigate reporting discrepancies and assist with resolving data and financial reporting issues.

Collaborate with finance and business teams to meet reporting deadlines and support ongoing initiatives.

Present financial information and reporting insights to stakeholders across the organization.

What You'll Bring

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Approximately 3 to 5 years of experience in financial reporting, financial analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.

Strong understanding of the full accounting cycle, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Experience building financial reports, dashboards, and analytical models.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Strong knowledge of SQL, DAX, Power BI, or similar reporting and data visualization tools.

CPA designation, or progress toward obtaining one, is considered an asset.

Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting platforms.

Exposure to multi-entity or multi-currency reporting environments is considered an asset.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
