Financial Analyst – Role Description & Qualifications
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, and business performance analysis. The ideal candidate should possess strong numerical ability, critical thinking skills, and the capability to interpret complex financial data to support strategic decision-making and organizational growth.
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, monitoring key performance indicators, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple financial tasks while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality.
Key responsibilities include preparing financial statements and reports, conducting variance analysis, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, analyzing revenue and expense trends, and evaluating overall business performance. The position may also involve building financial models, assessing financial risks and opportunities, performing cost analysis, supporting investment evaluations, and providing insights to improve financial efficiency and decision-making.
The successful candidate should be comfortable working with spreadsheets, financial systems, reporting tools, and analytical software. Familiarity with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, accounting principles, and business performance metrics is highly beneficial. Strong quantitative and analytical skills are essential for interpreting financial data and presenting insights in a clear, structured, and actionable manner.

Professional certifications in finance or accounting are also beneficial.
