A rapidly growing private equity-backed technology company is seeking an FP&A Analyst to join its expanding Finance organization. This newly created position offers the opportunity to work directly with senior finance leadership while partnering across the business to influence strategic decisions through financial planning, modeling, and analytics.

  • What You'll Do
  • Support the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting cycles across multiple business functions.
  • Build and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives and executive decision-making.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Workday Adaptive Planning, creating dashboards, reports, and planning models.
  • Perform monthly variance analysis, identify business trends, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • Partner directly with department heads and budget owners to review forecasts, spending, and operational performance.
  • Prepare executive reporting packages and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Assist with month-end financial analysis and ensure reporting aligns with GAAP principles.
  • Support headcount planning, operating expense forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
  • Develop ad hoc financial analyses supporting growth initiatives and business investments.
  • Help drive continuous improvements across financial planning processes and reporting capabilities.
  • What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of FP&A, Financial Analysis, Corporate Finance, or Business Analysis experience.
  • Hands-on Workday Adaptive Planning experience is REQUIRED.
  • Experience participating in budgeting and forecasting cycles.
  • Strong financial modeling skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Experience partnering with business leaders and presenting financial results.
  • Understanding of GAAP and financial statement analysis.
  • Experience supporting a SaaS, subscription-based, technology, consumer application, or recurring revenue business strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of SaaS metrics such as ARR, MRR, churn, CAC, LTV, ARPU, retention, and cohort analysis is highly desirable.
  • Comfortable leveraging AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, etc.) to improve financial analysis and productivity.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across the organization.
