About the Role
We are seeking a Financial Analyst to support plant finance operations through financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, inventory accounting, and capital project management. This is a high-visibility role that works closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to improve business performance and support strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
Support the monthly financial close process, including accruals, overhead allocations, utilities, and operating cost analysis.
Perform variance and trend analysis for fixed costs, variable costs, capital expenditures, and working capital.
Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Support inventory accounting, including monthly inventory entries, reconciliations, and physical inventory counts.
Manage capital project accounting, including project setup, tracking, settlements, and fixed asset creation.
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and support internal and external audits.
Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and improve operational performance.
Assist with financial reporting and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA and/or MBA preferred.
5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
Experience in manufacturing, industrial, chemical, or plant finance environments preferred.
Strong SAP experience, preferably with FI, CO, and MM modules.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
