Role Description The Graduate Student role at Stratus Clean is a full-time, on-site position located in Konawe. This role supports research, analysis, and operational projects related to green commercial cleaning and health-focused janitorial practices. Day-to-day responsibilities may include collecting and interpreting data on cleaning processes, assisting in the development and testing of environmentally friendly methods and materials, and preparing reports or presentations for internal stakeholders. The Graduate Student will collaborate with operations and management teams, observe field practices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in sustainability and efficiency. The position offers hands-on experience in applying academic knowledge to real-world environmental and health-conscious cleaning solutions.
Qualifications
Ability to conduct structured research and data analysis related to environmental health, cleaning practices, or facility management.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports, documentation, and presentations.
Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a full-time on-site setting.
Interest in sustainability, green technologies, and environmentally responsible business practices.
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant graduate program (e.g., environmental science, public health, engineering, business, or related field).
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and interact professionally with staff and clients on-site.
Basic proficiency with productivity software (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, presentation tools); familiarity with data or statistical tools is a plus.
Willingness to learn about commercial cleaning operations and adhere to safety and compliance standards.
