Financial Analyst
- Position Overview
- Stratify Advisors is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support a dynamic portfolio of clients operating across finance, e-commerce, and consumer products.
This is an entry-level position designed for an individual with approximately 1–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field who is looking to develop a broad skill set across financial operations, client service, reporting, and business analysis.
The Financial Analyst will work directly with internal team members and external clients to support account reconciliations, financial reporting, cash flow management, payout tracking, and the maintenance of critical financial and operational data.
- Key Responsibilities
- Perform account reconciliations across client bank accounts, credit cards, payment processors, and other financial systems.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
- Monitor, track, and follow up on periodic payouts to third parties, vendors, affiliates, and business partners.
- Support the preparation and review of financial schedules, analyses, and management reporting packages.
- Maintain and update client relationship and operational data across internal systems.
- Assist in the review and organization of financial records and supporting documentation.
- Work closely with client stakeholders to gather information and resolve discrepancies.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis projects.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and help implement scalable reporting procedures.
- Participate in client meetings and contribute to ongoing financial and operational initiatives.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 1–2 years of relevant finance, accounting, bookkeeping, or analytical experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including:
- Pivot Tables
- VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
- SUMIFS
- Basic financial modeling
- Data organization and analysis
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable interacting directly with clients and external stakeholders.
- Preferred Experience
- Exposure to e-commerce businesses, consumer products companies, agencies, or professional services firms.
- Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with financial reporting and operational KPI tracking.
