  • About the Role
  • The Senior Financial Analyst will support financial performance across multiple manufacturing facilities by partnering with Plant Controllers, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance leadership. This highly visible role focuses on manufacturing cost analysis, operational reporting, financial planning, and process improvements that drive data-driven business decisions.
  • Location: Arlington Heights, Illinois (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
  • Salary: $80,000–$100,000 + up to 5% annual bonus
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze manufacturing costs, operational performance, and variance drivers across multiple production facilities.
  • Maintain and govern standard costing within the ERP system, including cost setup, updates, and validation.
  • Partner with Plant Controllers, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure accurate production reporting, inventory valuation, labor tracking, and material usage.
  • Prepare monthly variance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Develop advanced Excel models, dashboards, and automated reporting solutions.
  • Improve financial reporting processes through automation and standardized workflows.
  • Support indirect spend analysis, supplier performance reviews, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Assist with weekly reporting, month-end close activities, and ongoing financial analysis.
  • Act as a strategic finance partner to manufacturing and operational leadership.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency and cost transparency.
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Financial Analysis, FP&A, or Manufacturing Finance.
  • Manufacturing, Food Manufacturing, or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of standard costing, inventory accounting, manufacturing cost flows, and variance analysis.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, dashboards, complex formulas, and data modeling.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and financial data reconciliation.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across Finance and Operations.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to the Beaver Dam, Wisconsin facility (approximately once per month).
