About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join a manufacturing-focused finance team. This onsite role offers the opportunity to partner closely with operations, engineering, and leadership teams to deliver actionable financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, and business recommendations that support organizational objectives.
As a trusted business partner, you will provide financial guidance across multiple programs and operational areas, helping stakeholders make informed decisions, optimize costs, and achieve performance goals. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with a collaborative mindset and a deep understanding of manufacturing finance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead financial reporting and analysis for multiple operational areas and business functions.
Support workforce planning, working capital management, profitability analysis, cash flow monitoring, and operational performance reporting.
Participate in month-end close activities, budgeting cycles, forecasting processes, and financial reviews.
Conduct detailed variance analysis, trend evaluations, scenario planning, and root-cause investigations.
Develop financial models and analytical tools to support operational planning and strategic initiatives.
Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate investment opportunities, sourcing strategies, and other key business decisions.
Improve reporting accuracy, financial visibility, and overall efficiency of business processes.
Collaborate with finance, accounting, and operations teams to develop business cases and support decision-making initiatives.
Establish and maintain standardized financial processes, controls, and documentation.
Identify process improvement opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Present financial results, risks, recommendations, and performance insights to leadership and key stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Cost Accounting, or a related financial discipline.
Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and accounting principles.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to perform complex financial analysis and develop meaningful business insights.
Experience creating financial models, business cases, dashboards, and leadership presentations.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex financial information for diverse audiences.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-support capabilities.
Proven ability to build effective working relationships across Finance, Operations, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams.
Experience presenting findings and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Experience working with ERP systems; Oracle Fusion experience is a plus.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting manufacturing plant operations.
Strong background in financial modeling and scenario analysis.
Experience developing KPIs, scorecards, and performance reporting tools.
Knowledge of cost accounting methodologies and manufacturing cost structures.
Understanding of working capital optimization and cash flow management.
Experience driving process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
Familiarity with enterprise ERP platforms and integrated financial systems.
