About The Opportunity

The Financial Analyst opening at Smartly Technologies supports day-to-day work across managed IT, cloud services, cybersecurity, technical support, implementation, and client technology operations. In this position, you will analyze financial performance, budgets, forecasts, and business trends to support planning and decision-making while working with the records, systems, and teams used by Smartly Technologies.

What You'll Work On

• Build and maintain recurring financial reports using support, system, service, project, and client data and approved accounting or reporting sources.
• Compare actual results with budgets, forecasts, and prior periods and explain material variances.
• Analyze revenue, costs, margins, cash needs, and operating trends relevant to technical support and managed IT service.
• Prepare forecast updates, scenario analyses, and management-ready summaries for planning discussions.
• Validate assumptions and source data before financial results are distributed to users, clients, engineers, and service teams.
• Support budgeting, close, and business-review cycles with clear analysis and documented calculations for Smartly Technologies.

Skills & Experience

• Experience with financial analysis, accounting, budgeting, or closely related business reporting.
• Strong Microsoft Excel or spreadsheet-modeling skills and comfort working with financial statements.
• Ability to interpret trends, explain variances, and communicate conclusions clearly.
• Strong written communication and the ability to document work clearly in a remote environment.
• Reliable internet access and a quiet, secure workspace suitable for handling business information in Smartly Technologies's remote-work environment.
• Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and, where applicable to the role and permitted by law, credit screening.
