Financial Analyst – Role Description & Qualifications
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and strategic decision-making processes. The ideal candidate should possess strong quantitative skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capability to transform financial data into actionable insights that drive business performance and growth.
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial information, monitoring business performance, preparing reports, and providing recommendations to support management decisions. This role requires a high level of accuracy, critical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with financial standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Conduct variance analysis and identify key drivers of financial performance.
Monitor revenue, expenses, profitability, and operational performance metrics.
Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions.
Perform cost analysis, trend analysis, and investment evaluations.
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
Identify financial risks, opportunities, and areas for operational improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.
Support strategic planning initiatives and business growth objectives.
Required Skills & Competencies:

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in financial analysis, accounting, auditing, budgeting, forecasting, corporate finance, or business analysis is an advantage.
Familiarity with financial systems, ERP platforms, reporting tools, and business intelligence software is beneficial.
Professional certifications related to finance or accounting are considered an asset.
