We are seeking a Financial Analyst II to support a high-impact IFRS lending accounting transformation initiative by gathering business requirements, supporting accounting analysis, driving process improvements, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver automated financial reporting solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in financial analysis, product control, or accounting who enjoys working on complex projects, collaborating with technology teams, and contributing to large-scale regulatory and accounting initiatives.

Ideal Candidate:

• ✔ Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• ✔ 2–5 years of experience in Financial Analysis, Product Control, Accounting, or Investment Banking
• ✔ Experience with lending products and accounting principles
• ✔ Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• ✔ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Additional Consideration for Candidates With:

• • Experience as a Product Controller supporting lending products
• • Accounting experience within an investment banking environment
• • Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP accounting standards
• • Experience gathering business requirements and developing functional specifications
• • Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• • Ability to collaborate with Technology, Accounting, and Business stakeholders
• Key Responsibilities:
• • Gather and document business and accounting requirements from Product Control, Accounting, and key business stakeholders
• • Support analysis of IFRS lending accounting requirements and compare current US GAAP processes to identify reporting differences
• • Assist in developing accounting requirements, business rules, and functional specifications for automation initiatives
• • Partner with Technology teams to design, implement, and validate system enhancements
• • Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), issue resolution, and business sign-off activities
• • Prepare project updates, presentations, and materials for senior management
• • Document accounting positions, business rationale, and materiality assessments related to IFRS implementation
• • Support project governance while tracking milestones, risks, and key deliverables
• • Contribute to process automation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accounting efficiency and reporting consistency
