About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to join our Global Emerging team based in Miami, FL. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting various financial functions across multiple regions, focusing on budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis. You will work closely with regional sales teams, finance partners, and management to ensure accurate financial planning and reporting that aligns with company objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities in both English and Spanish, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to strategic financial initiatives, manage large-scale projects such as CAPEX, and ensure compliance with local and global accounting standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; equivalent professional experience (minimum 4+ years) in finance or accounting.
  • Proficiency in SAP and experience within the beverage industry is preferred.
  • Fluent in both Spanish and English, with at least 2-3 years of professional experience speaking and writing in both languages.
  • Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization and managing cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • High level of accountability, integrity, and commitment to delivering results.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the management of capital expenditures (CAPEX) totaling $6 to $8 million, including creating CAPEX lists through consultations with country managers, GMs, and supply chain teams.
  • Forecast and report on monthly CAPEX phasing and implementation status, ensuring timely and accurate updates.
  • Prepare detailed business cases and Corrective Action Requests (CARs), submitting them for approval across LATAM, COT, and CAM regions.
  • Track approval processes, actual CAPEX payments, depreciation revisions, and asset management, including assisting with annual asset audits.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements for 11 LATAM entities, ensuring compliance with local accounting principles and global policies.
  • Collaborate with tax teams and external advisors to complete monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns, ensuring adherence to local tax regulations and managing intercompany agreements with legal teams.
  • Coordinate with treasury to manage and fund local cash requirements, maintaining optimal cash balances across entities.
  • Perform balance sheet account reconciliations for the LATAM region, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly segment reports and participate in problem-solving initiatives for LATAM jurisdictions, working with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions.
  • Contribute to long-range planning (LRP) and annual operating plan (AOP) processes, providing financial insights and analysis.
