About The Role

The Finance Analyst role at Molson Coors, based in Miami, FL, offers an exciting opportunity to be part of the Global Emerging team. This position is integral to providing comprehensive financial support across various functions, including budgeting, planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis. The successful candidate will work closely with regional sales teams and finance partners to ensure accurate financial management and strategic decision-making. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the role involves managing a significant CAPEX portfolio, supporting LATAM jurisdiction financial statements, and ensuring compliance with local and global accounting standards. This position offers a dynamic environment where analytical skills, business acumen, and cross-functional collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or have equivalent professional experience (minimum 4+ years) in finance or accounting roles. Prior experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems is preferred, along with familiarity with the beverage industry or multinational organizations. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (at least 2-3 years of active use) is required to effectively communicate across LATAM regions. Candidates should demonstrate a strong aptitude for handling complex projects, building relationships, and collaborating with diverse teams. A high level of integrity, accountability, and a proactive learning mindset are essential traits. Additional qualifications include experience in financial statement preparation, tax compliance, audit coordination, and cash management within a multinational context.

Responsibilities

The Finance Analyst will be responsible for a broad spectrum of duties, including managing CAPEX processes with an annual budget of $6 to $8 million. This involves creating CAPEX lists through engagement with country managers, GMs, and supply chain teams, as well as forecasting and reporting monthly CAPEX phasing and implementation status. Preparing detailed business cases and CARs for approval, tracking the approval process, and managing CAPEX payments are key tasks. The role also entails assisting with asset management activities such as depreciation tracking, in-market asset monitoring, and annual asset audits.

Further responsibilities include supporting 11 LATAM entities in financial statement preparation, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards while aligning with global policies. The analyst will collaborate with tax teams and external advisors to complete tax returns, manage statutory audits, and oversee intercompany agreements. Cash flow management is another critical aspect, requiring coordination with the Treasury team to maintain appropriate cash balances and funding needs across entities.

Additional duties involve reconciling balance sheet accounts, preparing quarterly regional segment reports, and troubleshooting financial issues by working with cross-functional teams. The role also supports long-range planning (LRP) and annual operating plans (AOP), contributing to strategic financial initiatives that support the company's growth objectives.
