About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our dynamic team at First National Bank Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, extracting relevant information, and interpreting data to identify past performance trends and project future developments. Your insights will support strategic decision-making processes and contribute to the bank’s continued growth and success. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in various data analysis tools, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders across different levels of the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data analysis, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
• Proficiency in software applications such as Excel, SQL, statistical packages (e.g., SAS, R, or SPSS), and data visualization tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of banking operations and financial systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing data reports to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to banking operations and financial performance.
• Perform moderately complex statistical analyses on data reported from various banking and financial systems.
• Develop comprehensive reports for forecasting, trending, and results analysis to support strategic initiatives.
• Use a variety of software applications, including spreadsheets, relational databases, statistical packages, and graphics tools, to assemble, manipulate, and format data and reports.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to provide data-driven insights and support decision-making processes.
• Maintain data integrity and ensure accuracy in all reports and analyses.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Other duties as assigned to support the bank’s analytical and operational objectives.
