Role Description The Financial Analyst will provide analytical support for privatisation transactions, public-private partnerships, and sectoral reform initiatives in a part-time, remote capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting financial statements, building financial models, and conducting financial planning and forecasting for public sector entities and proposed transactions. The role involves preparing clear financial reports and presentations, supporting due diligence activities, and contributing to transaction documentation and policy briefs. The Financial Analyst will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to assess financial viability, identify risks, and recommend data-driven options that align with the Ministry’s economic reform and transparency objectives.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Finance, with applied experience in Financial Planning and analysis.
Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting Financial Statements and preparing Financial Reporting outputs.
Advanced Analytical Skills, including quantitative analysis, financial modeling, and scenario assessment.
Ability to present complex financial information clearly in written reports, dashboards, and presentations.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, ACCA) is an advantage.
Experience with public sector finance, infrastructure projects, or privatisation/PPP transactions is desirable.
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to transparent, evidence-based decision-making.
Comfort working independently in a remote, part-time setting and collaborating virtually with diverse teams and stakeholders.
