Financial Analyst

• Financial Analyst (Level I)
• We’re looking for a Financial Analyst (Level I) to join a leading financial services organization in Jacksonville, FL. If you have experience in financial operations, transaction processing, reconciliations, or banking services, this role offers an opportunity to grow your career in a fast-paced financial environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Process and reconcile moderately complex financial transactions with medium to large monetary impact
• Support settlement, trade, transfer, and other financial operations activities
• Research and resolve transaction exceptions, escalations, and operational issues
• Respond to client and internal business partner inquiries through multiple communication channels
• Initiate and process transfer requests accurately while following applicable regulations, procedures, and controls
• Identify potential operational risks and escalate issues that could impact workflows
• Identify process improvement opportunities and communicate recommendations to management
• Maintain accurate documentation of operational procedures and processes
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve operational efficiency and client service
• Assist with training, coaching, and knowledge sharing for less experienced team members

What You Bring:

• Experience in financial operations, banking, financial services, transaction processing, or reconciliations is preferred
• Strong critical-thinking, research, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Sound judgment and ability to make timely, risk-based decisions
• Ability to independently research and resolve moderately complex issues
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and responsibilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Client service, account management, coaching, or mentoring experience is a plus
