About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst specializing in GPU workload health within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This pivotal role involves managing end-to-end financial planning, modeling, and analysis for the GPU product portfolio. As a trusted advisor to the product and engineering teams, you will influence strategic decision-making and ensure financial objectives align with operational goals. The ideal candidate will possess a robust analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure economics. This position offers flexibility to work remotely within the United States or at our Nashville, TN location, providing an exciting opportunity to contribute to Oracle’s rapid growth in cloud services.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with 5-8+ years of relevant experience. An MBA or CPA certification is considered an advantage. Strong proficiency in spreadsheet modeling and Oracle Financials is essential. Knowledge of cloud technology, infrastructure, or experience supporting engineering teams is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively across disciplines, and a proven track record of leveraging data insights to inform business decisions. The role requires a results-oriented mindset, strategic thinking, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support comprehensive product profit and loss statements, ensuring accurate financial tracking and reporting.
  • Develop scenario-based financial models to derive actionable insights at the product level, facilitating strategic planning.
  • Conduct competitive analysis, pricing strategies, and cost modeling for new product introductions (NPI), ensuring market competitiveness and profitability.
  • Align business strategies with financial reporting through the creation and monitoring of KPIs and goal-setting frameworks.
  • Perform detailed financial analysis to influence and guide strategic investment decisions, optimizing resource allocation.
  • Lead gross margin optimization initiatives by analyzing operational, financial, and business drivers to maximize profitability.
  • Manage financial planning, budgeting, and reporting activities in accordance with corporate and business requirements.
  • Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes to ensure capacity investments are appropriately timed and scaled.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering leaders, becoming a trusted advisor to support product development and operational efficiency.
  • Design and implement policies and procedures that monitor and support organizational operational and financial objectives.
