About The Role

The Senior Financial Analyst, GPU - Workload Health role at Oracle is a strategic position within the OCI Finance team, focusing on the financial planning, modeling, and analysis of the GPU product portfolio. This role serves as a vital business advisor to the product and engineering teams, providing insights that influence product development, investment decisions, and operational efficiencies. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end product profit and loss statements, developing scenario-based financial models, and conducting competitive analysis to support new product introductions. This position requires a proactive, data-driven professional capable of understanding both the macro and micro aspects of cloud infrastructure financials, working closely with cross-functional teams to optimize business outcomes and drive growth in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with 5-8+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis or planning. An MBA or professional certification such as CPA is preferred. Candidates should have a strong understanding of cloud technology and infrastructure, with prior experience supporting engineering or technical teams being advantageous. Exceptional communication skills are essential for collaborating across disciplines and levels within the organization. The candidate must demonstrate a results-oriented mindset, with proven ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies. Strong partnering skills, initiative, and the ability to thrive amidst ambiguity and rapid change are critical. Proficiency in financial modeling, Oracle Financials, and advanced spreadsheet capabilities is required.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and management of end-to-end product profit and loss statements, ensuring accuracy and strategic alignment.
  • Create and maintain scenario-based financial models to derive actionable product-level insights and support decision-making.
  • Conduct competitive analysis, pricing strategies, and cost modeling for new product introductions (NPI) to ensure market competitiveness and profitability.
  • Align business strategies with financial reporting by establishing KPIs and goals at various organizational levels, from individual services to overall offerings.
  • Analyze investment opportunities and influence strategic decisions through detailed financial evaluation.
  • Lead gross margin optimization initiatives by analyzing business drivers and operational efficiencies.
  • Manage financial planning activities, including budgeting and forecasting cycles, in compliance with corporate standards.
  • Participate actively in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes to ensure capacity investments are strategic and timely.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering leaders and teams, providing financial insights and guidance to support product development and operational excellence.
  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures that monitor operational performance and support organizational objectives.
