About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Entry-Level Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. This role is designed for recent graduates eager to develop a solid foundation in corporate finance and accounting. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing high-volume data scrubbing, and conducting detailed reconciliations. The position offers an excellent opportunity to support complex month-end close processes, contribute to strategic financial analysis, and gain hands-on experience in financial modeling and reporting. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and accuracy of our financial operations, supporting CertiK’s growth and stability in the rapidly evolving Web3 space.

Qualifications

  • Recent graduate or in the process of completing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum GPA of 3.6
  • Completion of mid-level finance and accounting courses
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with strong data manipulation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to dive deep into data to identify discrepancies
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Team player with a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn
  • Self-motivated and capable of handling operational tasks independently

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, scrub, and organize large sets of financial data to ensure data integrity across ledgers and reporting systems
  • Assist with and perform detailed daily and monthly reconciliations, including bank, revenue, and cost of goods sold (COGS)
  • Investigate variances and discrepancies thoroughly to support accurate financial reporting
  • Provide general accounting support, including preparing journal entries and organizing month-end close documentation
  • Support financial analysis, modeling, and assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Present data-driven insights and recommendations based on variance analysis and special project findings
  • Collaborate with senior analysts to streamline and improve financial reporting workflows
  • Contribute to automation efforts by utilizing tools like Python or Google Apps Script to enhance routine reconciliation processes
