Financial Analyst (Entry-Level / Junior / Associate)

  • Role Description
  • Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities by analyzing financial and operational data to provide actionable insights that support business decision-making. Prepare financial models, budgets, forecasts, and management reports to evaluate organizational performance, identify trends, and assist stakeholders in achieving strategic objectives. Monitor key financial metrics, analyze revenue and expense patterns, assess financial risks, and identify opportunities to improve profitability, operational efficiency, and overall financial performance. Conduct market research, financial analysis, and business performance evaluations to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and long-term growth planning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes, strengthen reporting accuracy, and contribute to effective financial management that supports sustainable business growth and organizational success. Assist in preparing financial presentations, executive reports, variance analyses, and performance reviews for management and key stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail. Proficiency in spreadsheets, financial modeling, data analysis tools, and reporting systems. Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, variance analysis, financial planning, and performance measurement concepts is advantageous. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders. Strong organizational and time-management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Knowledge of corporate finance, investment analysis, financial markets, business valuation, risk assessment, strategic financial planning, and financial performance analysis principles is highly advantageous. Experience with financial reporting tools, ERP systems, business intelligence platforms, dashboard reporting, and data-driven decision-making processes is considered an advantage.
