CK Power is looking for a Financial Analyst at our St. Louis, MO location. The Financial Analyst supports the manufacturing operation by analyzing financial data, monitoring performance, and providing insights that drive informed business decisions. This role focuses on cost accounting, inventory, fixed assets, budgeting, forecasting, and operational support.

What You’ll Do:

  • Financial Analysis & Reporting
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods.
  • Analyze manufacturing costs, margins, and profitability by product, customer, and production line.
  • Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
  • Cost Accounting & Inventory
  • Analyze standard costs, actual costs, and manufacturing variances (labor, material, overhead).
  • Monitor inventory levels, inventory turns, and excess/obsolete inventory.
  • Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
  • Fixed Assets & Depreciation
  • Maintain the fixed asset register, including additions, disposals, and transfers.
  • Review monthly depreciation and amortization.
  • Track capital expenditures and support capitalization of manufacturing equipment.
  • Assist with fixed asset audits and ensure compliance with capitalization policies.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
  • Track and report operational KPIs and financial metrics.
  • Compliance & Process Improvement
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and company accounting policies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting, automation, and data accuracy.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in a financial analyst or accounting role (manufacturing experience preferred).
  • Working knowledge of fixed assets and depreciation methods.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing cost accounting.
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas); Power BI or similar tools a plus.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
