Position Overview

The Financial Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to provide management with accurate, timely financial analysis and operational recommendations, thereby supporting corporate strategic planning, budget management, cost control, and business decision-making. This role requires strong data analysis capabilities, business acumen, and cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to drive sustainable growth and profitability through financial analysis.

• Key Responsibilities
• Financial Analysis
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analysis reports.
• Analyze revenue, costs, profits, cash flow, and key financial indicators (KPIs).
• Identify business trends, operational risks, and opportunities for improvement, and propose optimization recommendations.
• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Assist in developing annual budgets and rolling financial forecasts.
• Monitor budget execution and conduct variance analysis.
• Provide recommendations to management regarding budget adjustments.
• Operational Analysis
• Build financial models to support business development and investment decisions.
• Analyze the profitability of products, business units, and regions.
• Conduct financial feasibility analyses for new projects, market expansion, and strategic investments.
• Data Analysis and Reporting
• Collect, organize, and analyze financial and operational data.
• Produce operational analysis reports and data visualizations required by management.
• Improve financial data quality and analysis efficiency.
• Cost Control
• Monitor operating costs and expenses.
• Participate in cost optimization projects to enhance resource utilization efficiency.
• Propose recommendations for cost reduction and profit margin improvement.
• Risk Management and Compliance
• Assist in establishing financial analysis and risk monitoring mechanisms.
• Ensure the accuracy of financial data and compliance with company policies.
• Support internal and external audits and financial reviews.
• Cross-functional Collaboration
• Maintain close collaboration with business, operations, sales, and product teams.
• Provide financial support and operational analysis insights to various departments.
• Support the implementation of major corporate projects and strategic initiatives.
• Qualifications
• Education
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Work Experience
• 10+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or management accounting.
• Experience in financial services, technology, internet, or digital asset industries is preferred.
• Experience working in multinational corporations is preferred.
• Professional Skills
• Proficiency in financial statement analysis and budget management. Proficient in building financial models and operational analysis models.
• Familiar with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, PivotTables, Power Query, etc.).
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other data analysis tools is a plus.

• Hold professional qualifications such as ACCA, CFA, CPA, or CIMA (obtained or currently pursuing).
• Experience in financing analysis, investment analysis, or capital markets.
• Familiarity with automated data analysis and data processing tools such as Python and SQL.
