Role Description This is a part-time, remote Financial Analyst role supporting the financial management of construction projects and overall company performance. The Financial Analyst will review and interpret financial statements, prepare routine and ad hoc financial reports, and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities. The role involves analyzing project costs, revenues, and variances, providing insights to help optimize resource allocation and improve profitability. The Financial Analyst will collaborate with project managers and leadership to clarify financial data, ensure accurate reporting, and support decision-making with clear, data-driven recommendations.
Qualifications
Strong finance and financial planning skills, with the ability to support budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
Proficient analytical skills for interpreting financial data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights.
Experience working with financial statements and financial reporting, including preparation and review of reports.
Comfort using spreadsheets and financial software; advanced Excel skills are highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote, part-time environment.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance colleagues.
Experience in construction or project-based industries is a plus, as well as familiarity with French business practices.
