FINANCE, DATA AND DONOR MANAGEMENT CONTRACTOR

Pineville Neighbors Place is a growing 501c3 non-profit service organization. Since 2016, PNP has provided crisis assistance to our neighbors living in the 28134 zip code or that have students attending Pineville and Sterling Elementary Schools. Our mission is to unite the Pineville community by connecting individuals and families to essential resources and opportunities for empowerment. PNP is supported through the generosity of individuals, foundations, faith organizations, businesses, and grants.

  • Job Overview
  • The position of the Finance, Data and Donor Management Associate will be a part-time employee (~10 hours/week). This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining systems to support all finance, client and donor data. This person will have the day to day responsibility of maintaining financial information and donor records. This includes ensuring all relevant information is captured in our systems of record, it is accurate and is accessible when needed.

This person will be responsible for recommending and documenting process improvements across all functions related to financial and donor records. This may require implementing new systems or processes as needed to ensure we are managing our information in the most efficient way possible.

  • Responsibilities and Duties
  • Finance & Client Data Management:
  • Maintain Salesforce and PNP records with client data
  • Manage Salesforce application updates and features
  • Manage financial records and create checks using QuickBooks
  • Reconcile invoices, debit payments, and donations in QuickBooks
  • Produce grant report documents to meet monthly, check point and end of grant requirements
  • Produce monthly financial reports and adhoc reports as needed
  • Support grant applications and other public communications as needed
  • Work with the Treasurer to clear month end transactions
  • Organize invoices and supporting documents to participate in annual audit
  • Import Bulb delivery funding requests monthly - can be done manually
  • Document/update processes and develop new improvements

Donor Management:

  • Maintain donor data in Bloomerang (Donor Management CRM System)
  • Enter donations into Bloomerang as they are received (includes checks/ACH/Venmo/Paypal/Eventbrite/Cash)
  • Set up communications within Bloomerang to acknowledge donations and other follow ups
  • Maintain process to capture / document in-kind donations
  • Produce year end/tax letters for donors
  • Provide donor list for thank you letters/cards/recognition events and campaigns
  • Check donor and volunteer emails against Mailchimp and import missing emails semi-annually
  • Document/update processes and develop new improvements

Qualifications

Requires an undergraduate degree and experience equivalent to five (5) years in a finance and/or donor management area utilizing the required knowledge, skills, and abilities, such as finance, data and analytics, fundraising/donor management, reporting and project management.

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in finance or data analytics is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Able to review finances with the Board Treasurer.
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to identify, analyze and solve problems and make recommendations.
  • Strategic thinker and growing knowledge of resources available to assist the team.
  • Able to organize and prioritize many tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with financial budgeting.
  • Be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Be organized, detail-oriented and practical.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to compromise, negotiate, and work well with others.
  • Work Requirements
  • Position requires sitting and performing repetitive movement while using the computer and telephone.
  • Computer literate and proficient with computer applications to complete referrals for partner agencies.
  • Strong computer and Internet proficiency, including but not limited to Microsoft Office,
  • Google G-Suite, and database applications.
  • Salesforce Database experience is a plus.

Work hours are Mon-Thurs during Pineville Neighbors Place office hours, working about 20 hours per week.
