Finance Data Analytics Intern

Finance Data Analytics Intern: Our Corporate Accounting & Finance Department is looking for a driven Finance Data Analytics Intern. This position can be located at the Corporate Offices either in Onalaska, WI or DeForest, WI.

Job Purpose: The intern will be responsible for pulling data from our general ledger and other Kwik Trip systems in order to provide real-time data driven analysis and insight into income and expense accounts across the enterprise. The person will work with all levels of management and non-management co-workers to analyze data to improve corporate profitability.

• Primary job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• · Design, enhance, and maintain measurement tools, KPI’s, dashboards, and reports
• · Gather, translate, and deliver technical information to stakeholders
• · Research, identify, and analyze income and expense data to identify opportunities for improvement
• · Develop efficient methods of data collection

Qualifications:

• · Currently attending school for Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics
• · Possess strong data analysis skills
• · Ability to read, understand, and interpret numbers
• · Accurate and detail orientated
• · Possess strong customer service skills
• · Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks and meet department deadlines
• · Possess strong organizational skills
• · Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• · Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• · Ability to work well alone and as a team

Work Schedule: This is a paid internship opportunity. Interested applicants must be willing to work approximately 15+ hours per week (Monday through Friday during school), with the option to work full time during school breaks.
