Our client is seeking an experienced Contract Senior Business Analyst with deep expertise in FIS ACBS (Advanced Commercial Banking System) and commercial lending platforms to support strategic initiatives within a large enterprise banking environment.
This role requires a strong blend of business analysis, technical analysis, application support, and stakeholder engagement capabilities. The successful candidate will work closely with business leaders, technology teams, vendors, and support organizations to drive requirements, facilitate technical discussions, and ensure successful delivery of enhancements and strategic initiatives.
The ideal candidate possesses extensive ACBS experience, a strong understanding of commercial and corporate lending operations, and the ability to bridge the gap between business and technology teams.
Responsibilities
Serve as the subject matter expert for FIS ACBS and related commercial lending platforms.
Lead workshops and meetings with business stakeholders, technology teams, architects, and vendors to gather requirements and define solutions.
Analyze business objectives and translate them into detailed functional and technical requirements.
Develop user stories, business requirements, process flows, and technical specifications.
Collaborate closely with developers, architects, QA teams, and support teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Support strategic initiatives by mapping requirements to technology roadmaps and platform capabilities.
Analyze system integrations, APIs, data flows, and application architecture to identify impacts and dependencies.
Facilitate technical discussions and contribute to solution design activities.
Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate with vendor and internal technology teams to identify and validate solutions.
Develop knowledge articles, support documentation, and operational procedures for multiple teams supporting the platform.
Participate in testing activities, including test planning, test case review, defect analysis, and solution validation.
Support production releases and post-implementation activities as required.
Required Qualifications
Extensive experience working with FIS ACBS (Advanced Commercial Banking System).
Strong understanding of Corporate Lending and/or Commercial Lending business processes.
Proven experience functioning as a Senior Business Analyst within complex banking environments.
Ability to facilitate discussions across business, technology, architecture, and vendor teams.
Strong understanding of application architecture, system integrations, APIs, and data flows.
Experience creating detailed functional requirements, technical specifications, and user stories.
Ability to translate business requirements into actionable technical deliverables.
Experience troubleshooting complex application issues and supporting root-cause analysis activities.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Technical Skills
Advanced SQL skills.
Experience working with APIs and system integrations.
Understanding of enterprise application architectures and data models.
Experience with automation tools and technologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Experience supporting testing, validation, and release activities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting large-scale commercial lending transformations or modernization initiatives.
Knowledge of syndicated lending, loan servicing, credit facilities, and loan lifecycle management.
Experience working directly with FIS or third-party lending technology vendors.
Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies.
Experience within large financial institutions.
