Epicor Financials Analyst
Location: Remote, U.S. Based
Travel: Approximately 25% initially, tapering down over time
Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Compensation: $110,000 to $130,000 base salary
Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Epicor Financials Analyst to support and optimize Epicor ERP financial processes across multiple internal business units. This is not a consulting role. This position will be part of an internal ERP team supporting the company’s ongoing Epicor environment, financial operations, business unit onboarding, and long-term system improvement.
This remote role will require approximately 25% travel early on to support business unit onboarding, implementations, training, and process alignment. Travel is expected to decrease over time as the role shifts into steady-state support, maintenance, and optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Epicor Financials Support
• Support Epicor Financial Management modules across internal business units.
• Serve as a key internal resource for GL, AP, AR, month-end close, financial reporting, and multi-company financial operations.
• Troubleshoot financial process issues and provide ongoing end-user support.
• Help maintain and improve the company’s Epicor financial processes over time.
Finance Process Optimization
• Partner with internal finance and accounting teams to gather requirements and improve Epicor workflows.
• Configure and optimize Epicor financial modules to support accuracy, reporting, controls, and efficiency.
• Support month-end and year-end financial activities as needed.
• Help standardize financial processes across business units.
Implementations, Upgrades & Business Unit Onboarding
• Support Epicor upgrades, enhancements, acquisitions, and business unit integrations.
• Assist with testing, validation, deployment, go-live support, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Travel as needed during initial onboarding and implementation phases.
Training & Documentation
• Develop user training, documentation, and financial process guides.
• Work with ERP, IT, finance, and business teams to ensure data accuracy and system integrity.
• Bridge communication between finance users and technical ERP resources.
Required Qualifications
• 3+ years of hands-on Epicor ERP Financials experience.
• Strong knowledge of GL, AP, AR, month-end close, financial reporting, and accounting processes.
• Experience supporting Epicor implementations, upgrades, enhancements, or business unit rollouts.
• Experience in multi-company or multi-entity ERP environments.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial operations.
• Ability to gather requirements and translate finance needs into Epicor solutions.
• Strong communication, troubleshooting, training, and end-user support skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote internal support environment.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% initially, with travel decreasing over time.
Preferred Qualifications
• Epicor Kinetic Financial Management experience.
• SQL query and reporting experience.
• Experience with cloud and/or on-premises Epicor environments.
• Experience with ERP standardization, process improvement, and system optimization.
• Experience supporting acquisitions, consolidations, or internal business unit integrations.
• Understanding of financial controls, audit processes, and compliance requirements.
• Manufacturing, distribution, or multi-entity company experience preferred.
