Our client is looking to hire an Epic Willow Ambulatory Analyst to join their team for a 6-month fully remote contract opportunity.

Are you a seasoned Epic Willow Ambulatory Expert with a passion for shaping healthcare technology? We’re seeking a talented and dedicated Epic Willow Ambulatory Analyst to become a vital part of our dynamic healthcare IT support team. This is your opportunity to influence patient care positively while working on a long-term project with one of Texas’s leading healthcare systems.

In this role, you will serve as the go-to SME for outpatient, retail, and specialty pharmacy workflows within the Epic EHR platform. You’ll manage day-to-day support operations, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate closely with offshore teams and clinical stakeholders to ensure seamless pharmacy operations across multiple sites. With a focus on configuration, optimization, and support, your expertise will help shape the future of healthcare delivery.

Requirements:

  • Active Epic Willow Ambulatory certification (must be maintained)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multitasking capabilities
  • Willingness to participate in after-hours on-call rotations (once every 4-8 weeks), qualifying for OT
  • Some experience supporting remote and offshore teams is preferred

Required Skills:

  • 4+ years of Epic Willow Ambulatory application management experience
  • Current Epic Willow Ambulatory certification (mandatory)
  • Strong knowledge of outpatient and specialty pharmacy workflows
  • Experience with EHR support operations and SLA management
  • Proven background in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and interface management (including Surescripts)
  • Exceptional communication skills for collaborating with clinical and technical teams
  • Prior experience working with offshore support teams is highly desirable

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Additional Epic certifications (Inpatient, Home Infusion, etc.)
  • Experience with pharmacy billing, 340B programs, and inventory management
  • Knowledge of medication safety, HIPAA compliance, and revenue cycle workflows
  • Familiarity with multi-site system implementations

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • 4+ years of healthcare IT experience, ideally within large health systems or consulting firms
