Epic Systems Analyst V, Full-Time

Role Overview

This position involves leading complex system configuration, testing, validation, and ongoing support of applications, with a focus on clinical or IT systems to ensure safe, high-quality care through electronic health records.

Key responsibilities include analyzing application capabilities, workflows, and data; developing and documenting internal procedures; investigating operational specifications; and managing system updates and releases. The role requires collaboration with end users, third parties, and implementation teams to resolve issues and optimize system performance.

Additional duties include overseeing business-specific projects, promoting stakeholder communication, resolving system problems, and ensuring system stability and performance across multiple IT domains. The role also involves planning system changes, troubleshooting incidents, creating detailed documentation, and leading hardware and software updates.

Qualifications And Skills

• At least four years of experience with EPIC or comparable health system software, or four years scripting/programming experience.
• Minimum two years in a leadership role supporting IT or operational teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least eight years of IT or operations experience; additional relevant work experience may substitute for education.
