Epic Systems Analyst III

Role Overview

The Epic Systems Analyst III serves as a senior subject matter expert in the Clinical Care and Patient Engagement Technologies organization, focusing on the analysis, configuration, implementation, and support of Epic applications.

They evaluate complex clinical and business requirements, translating them into scalable technology solutions aligned with organizational goals, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support large-scale projects, system upgrades, and optimization initiatives to enhance system functionality and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with clinical leaders, stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams to ensure system stability, performance, and scalability.
• Support all phases of the application lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, testing, training, and production support.
• Develop and document procedures, perform system build, testing, validation, and ongoing support of applications.
• Analyze workflows, data collection, and application capabilities to recommend improvements and ensure high-quality care delivery.
• Provide first and second level support, troubleshoot complex incidents, and support system stability and performance.
• Participate in system configuration, upgrades, and vendor support activities, and create detailed documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum two years’ experience with Epic or comparable health system software or scripting/programming experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience in IT or operations.
• Strong analytical, technical, and workflow design expertise, with excellent collaboration and communication skills.
