What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Complete assigned Epic certifications, training, projects, and testing
- Provide technical subject matter expertise and business process knowledge to project teams
- Assist departments in defining requirements for new systems and support project planning
- Develop comprehensive test plans and participate in cross-functional integrated testing
- Provide technical support to system end users and manage incident ticket resolutions
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Minimum of two to three years of experience in information technology application development in a healthcare setting
- At least five years of Epic experience
- Must possess at least two Epic certifications and demonstrate proficiency in assigned modules
- Strong ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Experience in leading system design teams and managing project plans
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience with ambulatory and hospital revenue cycle workflows
- Knowledge of scheduling, registration, patient accounting, HIM, and authorization processes
- Familiarity with vendor selection processes and documentation requirements
- Ability to analyze current state and develop alternative solutions
- Previous involvement in change management and optimization activities
