Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients seeking an Epic Analyst – Hospital Billing to support, optimize, and maintain healthcare applications and business processes. This role collaborates with operational leaders, technical teams, vendors, and end users to deliver high-quality application solutions and continuous system improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, test, implement, support, and optimize assigned applications and business processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver application enhancements and operational improvements.
- Provide project coordination and support for assigned initiatives.
- Conduct requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, and workflow documentation.
- Configure and maintain applications according to organizational standards and change control processes.
- Communicate technical concepts and system changes to stakeholders and end users.
- Support issue resolution and troubleshoot moderate application incidents independently.
- Coordinate vendor-related application updates and code changes.
- Work with technical teams to identify infrastructure-related application issues.
- Promote standardized workflows and best practices across operational teams.
- Maintain documentation and provide regular project status updates.
- Assist with user training and knowledge transfer activities.
- Evaluate new application releases and functionality enhancements.
- Escalate service issues when required to meet service-level expectations.
- Participate in project implementations, optimization efforts, and ongoing support activities.
- Travel and additional work hours may occasionally be required during critical situations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare, business systems, or information systems environments.
- Experience supporting enterprise applications and business processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Epic certification or proficiency in the assigned module, or ability to obtain certification within six months of employment.
