  • Role Description The Environmental Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in San Francisco, CA. This position is responsible for assessing environmental impacts related to engineering and cloud infrastructure projects, including data centers and associated operations. Day-to-day tasks include performing environmental data collection and analysis, preparing reports and documentation, and supporting compliance with environmental regulations and internal policies. The Environmental Analyst collaborates with engineering, operations, and compliance teams to identify risks, recommend mitigation measures, and ensure sustainable practices across projects. The role also involves staying current with relevant environmental laws and standards and contributing to environmental management strategies that align with organizational and client objectives.
  • Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Environment Management skills, with experience in developing and implementing environmental programs or initiatives.
  • Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to collect, interpret, and report environmental data and performance metrics.
  • Candidates should possess Environmental Compliance and Environmental Law knowledge to support adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Candidates should possess Environmental Science expertise, including familiarity with impact assessments, sustainability principles, and ecological considerations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field; advanced degree is beneficial.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate complex information clearly in written and verbal form.
  • Experience with environmental impact assessments, permitting processes, and regulatory reporting is an advantage.
  • Proficiency with environmental data analysis tools, geographic information systems (GIS), or related software is beneficial.
