About The Opportunity

Smartly Technologies is adding a Entry-Level Data Analyst to its team supporting managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud services, software and web delivery, technical support, systems, data, projects, and customer service. The Entry-Level Data Analyst will analyze business data and turn it into accurate reports, trends, and practical insights. The opening is full time, fully remote, and open to candidates throughout the United States.

What You'll Work On

• Collect, clean, and analyze data connected to managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud services, software and web delivery, technical support, systems, data, projects, and customer service from approved spreadsheets, reports, databases, and business systems in the Entry-Level Data Analyst role at Smartly Technologies.
• Build and maintain recurring reports, dashboards, and tracking files for key performance measures as part of the Entry-Level Data Analyst role at Smartly Technologies.
• Investigate unusual values, missing records, and data inconsistencies and document the resolution across managed IT and technical delivery in this Entry-Level Data Analyst position.
• Translate analysis into clear summaries that explain trends, changes, exceptions, and business impact for the Smartly Technologies team as part of Entry-Level Data Analyst work.
• Maintain calculation logic, filters, metric definitions, and source notes so reporting remains reproducible while supporting managed IT and technical delivery in the Entry-Level Data Analyst role at Smartly Technologies.
• Support ad hoc analysis requests while protecting confidential business and customer information as part of day-to-day Entry-Level Data Analyst responsibilities at Smartly Technologies.

Skills & Experience

• Relevant analytical training or practical experience; analyst-level experience is preferred for associate roles for the Entry-Level Data Analyst opening at Smartly Technologies.
• Strong spreadsheet skills and familiarity with SQL, BI, reporting, or visualization tools.
• Comfort working with large datasets and checking calculations, filters, joins, and source quality.
• Ability to explain analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and attention-to-detail skills.
• A pre-employment background check is required.
