Miracle Software Systems, Inc. is looking for "Enterprise Data Architect" for long term Contract/Fulltime position available with following Job description.
Position Description:
- Employees in this job function are responsible for translating desired business capabilities into o solution concepts and models and their requirements (functional and technical) o Design strategies, technology patterns and service structures.
- Accountable for architecture and information management guidance and governance processes.
- Responsible for enterprise capability integration by describing and evaluating the opportunities for integration and alignment of information and process flows, selecting appropriate implementation strategies, and defining technology mechanisms required. (Applies to: enterprise level, portfolio level.)
- Compiles, develops and aligns architectural models of current and proposed capabilities and solutions across the enterprise to support strategy and investment decisions, portfolio management, program and project management, solution and service design and development and service management. (Applies to: enterprise level, portfolio level, program/project level, technology level.)
- Drives information integration, information standards, and information management through capability and value analysis and assessment. (Applies to: enterprise level, portfolio level, program/project level.)
- Delivers architecture artefacts (business, information, data, process, solution, application, service, technology, infrastructure architectures) to solution, service and technology delivery initiatives, programs and projects.
- Sets architecture and design direction (technologies, patterns, design principles, development frameworks) in cooperation with project management and system design/development. (Applies to: program/project level.)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides direction and support to project teams by translating business capabilities into well-defined
- Projects/programs with clear objectives and deliverables.
- Visualizes and communicates architecture concepts, principles, strategies, and models for programs, initiatives, and domains.
- Facilitates architecture discussions with cross-functional business sponsors and product lines to ensure alignment.
- Participates as a member or facilitator in relevant business/IT governance processes.
- Ensures alignment between architecture projects and standards and related IT projects and plans by working with appropriate IT and business management.
- Develops recommendations which will improve the business value of IT projects and plans.
- Sets direction and approves future state architecture standards, guidelines, blueprints, and roadmaps for/across business functions.
- Drives architecture-related research to further mature architecture standards, guidelines, blueprints, and roadmaps.
- Directs and approves innovations and/or prototypes based on research and approves recommendations on architecture, tools, methodologies, and/or processes.
- Facilitates architecture governance and ensures adherence to architecture standards.
- Obtains buy-in for architecture standards, guidelines, blueprints, and roadmaps from appropriate business and IT leaders.
- Promotes benefits and value of architecture and architecture management to the business and IT senior management.
- Provides guidance on strategy and planning in support of overall prioritization and portfolio planning.
Skills Required:
- Data Architecture, Data Analysis, Data Governance, Data Management, Data Integrity, Data Model, Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, Database - Other
- Specialist Exp: 10+ yrs in IT; 5+ years of Information/Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or advanced Database Design/Modeling experience in designing or implementing OLTP/RDBMS databases, Data Warehouse, Data Marts.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience creating data models using data modeling tools (e.g. Power Designer) Knowledge of Master Data Management concepts and tools Experience in GCP technologies including Big Query, Alloy DB, PostgreSQL, Cloud Run, Mongo DB, Data Flow Experience in defining and implementing data quality initiatives.
- Knowledge of AI capabilities and experience in leveraging it for Data Engineering/Modeling
Skills Preferred:
- MDM, Enterprise Architecture, .NET Core
- Design and develop information data models including EDM, Conceptual, logical and physical data models. Manage and maintain the models in a Power Designer repository.
- Map Application to Conceptual Data Model, Business Process and Business Capability
- Support product team’s intake process, understanding business requirements, translating them into people, process, data and system requirements, applying data architectural principles, and providing expert guidance.
- Lead the discovery and analysis phase of Data Platform, ensure a deep understanding of our data landscape and facilitate integration of diverse sources into a unified data model
- Lead conceptual discussions to understand the organization's data landscape. Identify and evaluate candidate data sources, maintain data models and data dictionaries for all identified source systems. Develop and define Canonical Domain Models
- Profile source system data, define comprehensive data quality requirements, identify data quality dimensions and metrics. Provide guidance on data quality monitoring, measuring, reporting and addressing issues.
- Establish data architecture principles, data standards, best practices, and guidelines for the design of the data platform including data catalog, data lineage, observability, security and interoperability
- Perform proof of concepts and guide Product team members to design and develop using different GCP data engineering technologies and tools.
Experience Preferred:
- Functional and Architecture Experience with one or more PLM platforms (e.g., Siemens’ Teamcenter, Dassault’s 3D Experience)
- Knowledge of TOGAF, DAMA Architecture Framework and Standards
- Ability to define data architecture principles, guidelines and standards
- Expertise in interoperability standards and methods
- Outstanding and proven leadership skills in working with senior-level management helping in decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong ability to self-manage and develop work plans that employ appropriate methods to resolve ambiguity and build consensus for an architectural solution
Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree, Certification Program
