2. About the Opportunity:
The Engineering Manager - Data Enablement is responsible for leading engineering teams to design, develop, and deliver technology solutions that support the organization’s product areas. This role provides strategic direction, promotes best engineering practices, and ensures alignment with broader technology and business goals. The position is critical in guiding technical decisions, fostering team collaboration, and managing resources to achieve successful outcomes.
3. Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and review of technical solution design and architecture.
- Participate in system design discussions to establish solution approaches.
- Develop software and ensure adherence to best practices through code reviews.
- Promote sharing of ideas and continuous learning within teams.
- Support agile practices and remove barriers to team performance.
- Collaborate with Product Managers on initiatives, strategies, and targets.
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages psychological safety and collaboration.
- Enable cross-team collaboration and resolve challenges jointly.
- Align teams with organizational priorities and technology strategies.
- Contribute to setting product and platform technology vision and roadmaps.
- Advocate for appropriate engineering standards, patterns, and continuous improvement.
- Define and support development lifecycle and DevOps practices.
- Manage technology vendor relationships and build consensus on technology decisions.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and career development support to engineers.
- Lead recruitment and talent planning to build high-performing teams.
- Model leadership competencies such as courage, collaboration, and commitment.
- Oversee a team of direct and indirect reports.
4. Requirements:
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Over 8 years of progressively responsible experience in engineering or related roles.
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
