EHR SUPPORT ANALYST

2. About the Opportunity:

The EHR Support Analyst ensures the effective operation and optimization of Electronic Health Record systems across affiliate organizations. This role supports users by troubleshooting and providing guidance, collaborating with clinical, billing, IT staff, and vendors to resolve system issues, and enhancing system functionality. The position maintains data integrity and compliance, contributing to improved patient care and operational efficiency.

3. Responsibilities:

• Provide first and second-level support for EHR system users, resolving technical issues and guiding system use.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to align EHR functionalities with workflow requirements.
• Develop user documentation to improve staff proficiency with EHR applications.
• Monitor system performance and coordinate with IT and vendors to implement necessary upgrades or fixes.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy regulations and organizational policies related to EHR usage.

4. Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years working with Electronic Health Record systems, preferably in behavioral health, IDD, or social services.
• Strong understanding of clinical and billing workflows and clinical documentation.
• Proficient in troubleshooting software issues and providing end-user support.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and healthcare data privacy standards.
• Preferred: Experience with EHR systems such as myAvatar, myEvolv, or Credible.
• Preferred: Experience with healthcare data analytics, reporting tools, healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR), clinical or billing environments, healthcare IT support, and basic SQL knowledge.

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
