Significance, Inc. is seeking a DoD Financial Management Analyst to join our growing team supporting the Department of Defense. This position requires an acive Secret clearance and is expected to support a hybrid schedule with one(1) day onsite per week in Crystal City, VA.
The DoD Financial Management Analyst – Business Analyst II provides financial management and analytical support to a Department of Defense program office, supporting cradle-to-grave budget execution and financial operations. This role assists with the preparation and execution of funding documents, including target loads, Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs), purchase requests, and other financial documentation supporting funds execution, tracking, reconciliation, and audit activities.
The analyst will support the reconciliation of unobligated and unliquidated funds, research and analyze financial data, and maintain accurate financial records and documentation. The role will utilize key DoD financial and acquisition systems, including CCARS, CRIS, DTIM, Navy ERP, and the PIEE suite, to support effective financial management, reporting, and program decision-making.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 1 year of relevant industry experience providing business, financial, or analytical support.
Active Full Secret clearance.
Experience supporting DoD financial management and budget execution activities, including cradle-to-grave execution of appropriated funds.
Experience preparing and executing funding documents, including target loads, Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs), purchase requests, and other financial documentation.
Experience preparing financial documentation in support of funds execution, funds tracking, reconciliation, and audit activities.
Ability to research, collect, analyze, document, and distill financial and business data to support decision-making.
Experience tracking and reconciling unobligated and unliquidated funds.
Knowledge and practical experience with financial and acquisition systems, including:
Comprehensive Cost and Requirements System (CCARS)
Commanders’ Resource Integration System (CRIS)
DFAS Transaction Interface Module (DTIM)
Navy ERP
Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) suite
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prepare professional documentation, reports, briefings, and business presentations.
Ability to complete assigned tasks within established project scope, schedule, and deliverable requirements.
Desired Skills:
Previous Department of Defense (DoD) financial management experience.
Experience supporting DoD program offices, acquisition organizations, or major defense programs.
Familiarity with DoD financial policies, appropriations, budget execution, and audit readiness.
Experience identifying financial discrepancies, researching transactions, and supporting corrective actions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate financial information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
$71,000 - $78,000 a year
At Significance, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role, level, and geographic location.

The salary range listed is for the level at which this job has been scoped. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply. This position is also eligible for a comprehensive and generous benefits package.
