  • Director, Planning and Analytics
  • Reports to: VP of Key Accounts
  • The Director of Planning and Analytics will lead the strategic and operational processes that drive revenue forecasting, inventory optimization, sales reporting, and merchandise planning. This role serves as a critical link between Sales, Product, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain teams, transforming historical and real-time data into forward-looking insights that guide strategy, planning, and execution across channels, categories, silhouettes, and licensed businesses.
  • This leader will own the forecasting vision for the company—setting the standards, frameworks, and methodologies that inform revenue planning, inventory strategy, product decisions, and resource allocation. They will serve as a strategic thought partner to executive leadership and cross-functional teams, ensuring decisions are grounded in data, trends, and clear commercial logic.
  • The ideal candidate is a highly analytical, self-starting leader who can connect data to strategy, forecast with confidence, and clearly communicate insights that drive action.
  • Core Responsibilities
  • Sales Reporting & Analytics (Primary Focus)
  • Lead the development and management of sales reporting, dashboards, and KPI tracking across all channels.
  • Identify opportunities, risks, and inflection points early and proactively communicate implications and recommendations.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that inform executive decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Establish standardized reporting processes and ensure data accuracy across systems.
  • Partner with Sales leadership to develop forecasts, territory analyses, account performance reviews, and growth opportunities.
  • Utilize advanced analytics to support pricing, assortment, promotional, and customer strategies.
  • Establish best-in-class forecasting methodologies, tools, and performance metrics.
  • Strategic Planning & Decision Support
  • Partner with Executive Leadership, Sales, Product, Merchandising, Finance, and Supply Chain to inform business strategy and annual/seasonal planning.
  • Provide data-driven guidance on product mix, category growth, channel expansion, and licensed business opportunities.
  • Support scenario planning and “what-if” analyses to guide strategic trade-offs and long-term growth initiatives.
  • Inventory & Supply Alignment
  • Translate forecasts into inventory strategies across blank and finished goods.
  • Ensure inventory planning supports business growth while managing risk, efficiency, and working capital.
  • Partner with Supply Chain and Purchasing to align demand forecasts with production, lead times, and capacity.
  • Leadership & Enablement
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Planning & Analytics team.
  • Build scalable processes, reporting, and dashboards that improve clarity, speed, and decision quality across the organization.
  • Elevate the company’s analytical maturity by fostering a data-driven culture and consistent planning cadence.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and lead transformation initiatives that enhance efficiency and business performance.
  • Qualifications & Experience
  • 8–12+ years of experience in analytics, forecasting, planning, or strategy within consumer products, apparel, footwear, or related industries.
  • Proven experience leading enterprise-level planning across multiple channels, categories, and product dimensions.
  • Strong ability to synthesize large data sets into concise, business-relevant insights.
  • Experience supporting executive-level decision-making and long-range planning.
  • Advanced analytical skills and deep comfort working with forecasting and planning tools.
  • Demonstrated success building and leading high-performing teams.
