Director of Investment Operations & Analytics

Company Overview:

A woman-led independent alternative asset management firm with $8.5 billion in assets under management specializes in multi-strategy hedge fund and opportunistic credit investing. They are seeking a Director of Investment Operations & Analytics to drive operational excellence and technology integration across their investment platform.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end investment process, including origination, research, diligence, closing, and ongoing portfolio monitoring and valuation.
• Champion continuous improvements by systematizing processes, eliminating inefficiencies, and standardizing best practices across functions.
• Ensure operational risk controls and compliance across all data and investment workflows.
• Take ownership of the data governance framework, ensuring quality, accuracy, security, and integrity of investment data.
• Direct the collection, synthesis, and dissemination of data-driven insights to support investment decision-making and firm strategy.
• Spearhead the evaluation, implementation, and integration of major technology platforms and data systems.
• Serve as the principal liaison between investment operations, technology, risk, and leadership.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in alternative asset management, with deep knowledge of complex structures in hedge fund and private credit settings.
• Proven track record leading large-scale operational teams and driving business transformation.
• Demonstrated thought leadership in data governance, analytics, and digital change within a financial services environment.
• Experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, and control frameworks.
• Deep appreciation for technology-driven solutions, automation, and innovation.

Compensation: Salary: $150,000 – $200,000, Plus Bonus
