How do you give 80,000+ people — and their AI agents — a single trusted view of enterprise data?
That's the problem we're solving for one of the world's premier academic medical centers: an organization where data flows from the bedside to the research bench to the classroom, across Google Cloud, Azure, and on-prem systems.
I'm hiring a **Lead Data Observability Architect** to design the target architecture: a centralized framework for metadata, lineage, and data quality — consumable by humans through intuitive UIs and by AI agents through APIs, knowledge graphs, and agent-to-agent protocols.
You'll need:
✔ 14+ years in data architecture; deep multi-cloud experience (GCP + Azure)
✔ Hands-on depth in Google Dataplex, Azure Purview, and Collibra (Informatica/TopBraid a plus)
✔ OpenLineage or equivalent lineage frameworks, including column-level lineage
✔ Architecture for API, SQL, event-stream, and knowledge-graph consumption patterns
✔ Healthcare data experience (FHIR, HL7) strongly preferred
✔ The ability to defend your architecture in front of a world-class client technical panel
US-based, full-time W-2 with CitiusTech (no C2C). ~Monthly travel to client site in Rochester, MN, estimated at 3–4 days. August 2026 start.
