- Role Description
- The Digital Strategy Analyst / Digital Planning Specialist / Digital Transformation Consultant helps organisations develop and execute digital strategies that improve customer experience, operational efficiency, business growth, and technology adoption. This role assesses current digital capabilities, identifies strategic opportunities, and translates business priorities into practical digital roadmaps.
- The position researches market trends, customer behaviour, technology developments, and competitor activity to support evidence-based planning. It develops business cases, transformation plans, operating-model recommendations, implementation roadmaps, and performance measures, working closely with leaders across Technology, Operations, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Customer Experience.
- The role also supports digital transformation programmes by tracking initiatives, identifying risks and dependencies, and measuring results against strategic goals. It provides clear reports and recommendations that help stakeholders prioritise investment, improve delivery, and embed new digital ways of working.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Digital Transformation, Information Systems, Technology, Management, Strategy, or a related field.
- Experience in digital strategy, business analysis, transformation, consulting, technology planning, or digital operations.
- Strong understanding of digital-business models, customer journeys, technology trends, and digital operating models.
- Experience developing strategic roadmaps, business cases, implementation plans, and transformation recommendations.
- Ability to analyse market, customer, operational, financial, and technology data to identify growth and improvement opportunities.
- Experience supporting digital initiatives involving platforms, automation, data, cloud, customer experience, or process improvement.
- Strong research, analytical, and structured problem-solving skills.
- Ability to evaluate current-state processes and digital capabilities, then identify future-state requirements.
- Experience managing project plans, risks, dependencies, milestones, and stakeholder updates.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for preparing executive reports, workshops, and strategy materials.
- Ability to work effectively with senior leaders, technical teams, operational teams, and external partners.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, project-management tools, digital analytics platforms, and reporting dashboards.
- Knowledge of Agile, Lean, design thinking, change management, or process-improvement methods is advantageous.
- Certifications in digital transformation, Agile, Scrum, PRINCE2, PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or business analysis are an advantage.
