Role Description The Writer role is a full-time remote position responsible for producing clear, engaging, and accurate written content that supports SEBACO’s building activities and its OUTDOOR INDOOR division. Day-to-day tasks include drafting and revising website copy, product descriptions, marketing materials, and internal communications. The Writer will collaborate with operational, commercial, and marketing teams to gather information, transform technical or commercial details into accessible content, and maintain consistent tone and messaging across channels. The role also involves supporting content planning, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines, and meeting deadlines for ongoing and project-based communications.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills to produce clear, accurate, and engaging content in en_US.
Candidates should possess abilities in content planning and basic content strategy, including organizing information and adapting messages to different audiences and formats.
Candidates should possess research and information-gathering skills to understand technical, commercial, or product-related topics and translate them into accessible language.
Candidates should possess communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with remote teams and stakeholders from different departments.
Candidates should possess digital literacy, including familiarity with common office and content tools (word processing, shared drives, online collaboration platforms, and basic web publishing).
Relevant qualifications include prior experience as a writer, content creator, or communications specialist, ideally in construction, sports equipment, retail, or related sectors.
Additional beneficial qualifications include knowledge of French, understanding of cooperative company structures (SCOP), and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines autonomously.
