Title: DevOps Process Business Analyst (French Speaker)

• Duration: Until December 31, 2027 with possible extension
• Location: Montreal – Hybrid model with 6 days per month in Montreal, including 2 days at Old Port during PI Planning sessions held every 8 weeks.
• Pay Rate: CAD $75/hr – Incorporated Basis – Without Benefits

The candidate must have the following qualifications:

• Required:
• Significant IT experience (15 years), including:
• 5 years of experience in process improvement / lean
• Knowledge of DevOps, SRE, or modern application operations environments
• Knowledge of the ITIL framework
• Experience in implementing or improving operational processes
• Experience in CI/CD and continuous delivery environments
• Ability to transform informal practices into structured processes
• Language: French

Assets / Nice to have:

• Experience as a developer, SRE, or active member of a DevOps team
• Hands-on experience with tools (examples):
• Monitoring (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)
• CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Incident management (ServiceNow, Jira, PagerDuty, etc.)
• Experience implementing SRE practices
• Experience in large-scale DevOps transformations
• Fluent spoken and written French and English

Job Description:

• Translate DevOps/SRE operational practices into concrete, simple, and adoptable processes
• Design reusable templates and standards (incident management, support, release/deployment, monitoring)
• Ensure alignment between agile practices, DevOps, and adapted ITIL frameworks
• Continuously improve team operational efficiency
• Formalize and standardize field-based DevOps/SRE practices (incident management, post-mortems, alert management, support)
• Design flow-oriented processes compatible with CI/CD cycles
• Establish operational templates (runbooks, playbooks, post-mortem templates, SLAs/SLOs)
• Work directly with technical teams to understand operational realities
• Simplify and adapt ITIL processes to make them lightweight, automatable, and DevOps-compatible
• Promote reliability practices (SLOs, error budgets, continuous improvement)
• Identify operational pain points and propose concrete, pragmatic solutions
