Akkodis is seeking a Desktop Analyst – Entry Level for a W2 contract position in Bonita Springs, FL. This entry level role is responsible for end-to-end deployment coordination — spanning branch communications, deployment validation, Hypercare support, issue escalation management, and project administration. Serving as the primary operational support resource for all printer deployment activities, this role acts as the central liaison between branch personnel, Ricoh technicians, IT Client Services (ITCS), Field Services Associates (FSAs), and supporting technical teams. The Printer Deployment Coordinator ensures branch readiness, confirms deployment completion, drives post-installation support, and maintains accurate project documentation and tracking records throughout the program lifecycle.

Pay Range: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour on W2; The rate may be negotiable within this range based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Desktop Analyst job responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for branch personnel throughout all phases of the printer refresh deployment cycle.
  • Develop and distribute branch communications for upcoming printer refresh activities, including mass deployment notifications and individualized installation advisories.
  • Communicate delivery schedules, installation timelines, support resources, and project expectations clearly and proactively to branch teams.
  • Maintain comprehensive communication logs and ensure all branches receive required notifications in advance of scheduled deployments.
  • Respond promptly to branch inquiries related to printer replacements, pickup activities, scheduling, and deployment readiness.
  • Coordinate pre- and post-installation follow-up activities to ensure a seamless branch experience.
  • Ensure every printer installation meets program standards through structured validation and quality assurance activities.
  • Review installation documentation, configuration sheets, technician checklists, and deployment records following each installation event.
  • Verify successful printer installation and confirm operational readiness prior to closing deployment records.
  • Coordinate user acceptance and branch validation activities to confirm end-user satisfaction.
  • Identify deployment exceptions, discrepancies, or incomplete items requiring follow-up action.
  • Update project tracking tools with real-time deployment status, validation results, and completion details.
  • Provide dedicated first-level support to branch personnel during active deployment and Hypercare periods.
  • Monitor deployment support channels and respond promptly to installation-related concerns and user questions.
  • Assist in troubleshooting common printer, scanning, and user-related issues to minimize branch disruption.
  • Coordinate support efforts across branches, Ricoh technicians, ITCS, and technical support teams to drive timely resolution.
  • Track and document all support activities from initial contact through issue resolution.
  • Identify, route, and monitor issues that require escalation beyond first-level support, ensuring timely resolution and clear stakeholder communication.
  • Triage incidents and service-impacting concerns, routing them to the appropriate support teams, including: Ricoh Support, IT Client Services (ITCS), Field Services, Network Services, Printer Services, AS400 / RentalMan Support Teams
  • Monitor escalated issues through to resolution and communicate status updates to affected stakeholders and branch personnel.
  • Support incident management activities during active deployment windows and Hypercare periods.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date project records and support program reporting throughout the deployment lifecycle.
  • Manage printer deployment tracking records, including installation status, validation results, deployment dates, issue logs, and supporting documentation.
  • Support project reporting and deployment metrics collection to inform program leadership of progress and risk areas.
  • Monitor deployment readiness and branch communication completion across all active deployment waves.
  • Assist with release closeout activities and final project reporting.
  • Capture lessons learned, recurring issues, and process improvement opportunities to strengthen future deployment cycles.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: IT coordination, service desk operations, technical support, project coordination, field services support, or deployment/implementation support.
  • Experience supporting technology deployments or operational initiatives is preferred.
  • Candidates must demonstrate proficiency with the following tools and technologies: Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Word, Ticketing & Tracking Systems
  • Experience with Basic Printer / MFD (Multi-Function Devices) Troubleshooting is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation and tracking.
